Is it safe to power wash under the hood 2005 accord ?

Is it necessary to clean under the hood of the car (other then the clean look).i am about to get my car detailed and the package comes with power cleaning under the hood.Is the water pressure gonna go any harm to the electronics. I also have a circuit breaker for the sound system and aftermarket hids. dont think they r water proof..Is underbody cleaning important...and is underbody powerwash harmful in any way..Is it safe to power wash under the hood 2005 accord ?
if they do it right they sould cover it up but its a 2005 i dont think you need to do this yet how man miles on it ?Is it safe to power wash under the hood 2005 accord ?
underbody is important, otherwise itll rust-and its not harmful





and powerwashing under the hood, they should cover up the electronic stuff, if they dont, then its harmful
its NOT necessary to clean under the hood of the car since your accord is an 2005, unless you're planning to take it to a car show.


yes you can power wash the motor its safe,but remember to let it dry.


i always let my car dry overnight before driving it to the friday/saturday night street races.
Should be O.K.
as long as you don't make a habit of it, over time the water will cause corrosion in the connections
I would advise not to do this only because the water pressure can mess with the electronics. I would get a nice soft scrub brush and some general purpose cleaner and then wash the whole engine down with the hose. I worked great for me. My 16 year old car looks new under the hood.
it is perfectly ok to do this but do not do this too much or it can lead to corrosion
