Can i power wash the bottom of my mower?

of course, the mulch feature suffers when there's a buildup of grass clumps under the deck. this stuff is a real pain to get off. i've been wondering if i can just power wash it, or if this might risk damaging the mower in some way.Can i power wash the bottom of my mower?
You should be able to do this this with no ill effects ... but make sure to drain out the gasoline and oil (if used on your model) BEFORE you tip your mower over to wash.

Also, you should treat the blade and any exposed metal by drying it off and spraying it with WD-40 or wiping on light oil to prevent rust from forming. Can i power wash the bottom of my mower?
yes
i would say yes.... if u can power wash a car and they say dont because it can chip the paint.... ive done it and it hasn't chipped the paint. but if ur worried, dont put it on ';full blast';.
When you power wash the mower then just be careful when you tip the mower for the gas might come out . I wash mine under if needed
I spray the underside after every mowing with a strong stream from a garden hose. Depending on what geographical area you're in, cleaning the underside can also help prevent lawn diseases that can spread by mowers and infected grass clippings (brown patch). Be sure to disconnect the spark plug for obvious reasons.
You could but it is esiere to pull off the clomps after cuttting the lawn and use your garden hose to wash the underside down. Works well and is recommended.
Power washing is not a good idea because it forces water into the bearings and bushings causing them to wear out prematurely. Scrape and use the garden hose.
By all means, The mowers should be cleaned after every cutting It will make the deck last longer, I have gone as far as to Teflon coat the bottom then the water hose id great
